LaVar Ball is Starting His Own Basketball League

Today, LaVar Ball has announced that he is starting a new basketball league for high school kids who don’t want to play in college.  He said the league will be funded by the Big Baller Brand and he will be paying the players a range of $3,000 to $10,000 a month depending on their role of each team. So far, the league has ten teams in cities such as Atlanta, Brooklyn, Dallas, and Los Angeles. Also, they have the official logo for the league:

My opinion on this news is I’m happy about this. However, I don’t know will it be successful or not. The main reason I said that is the NBA has the G-League for players who are 18 years old or older. With the NBA having access to talented coaches and trainers, I don’t see many players choosing Lavar’s league over NBA’s G-League. The only way I see players going to LaVar is that they trust him by seeing the result from his sons. All I can say right now is good luck LaVar Ball because I want him to succeed.
